According to Jane’s (http://idr.janes.com/public/idr/index.shtml), Advanced Propulsion Technologies’ OPOC engine (http://www.propulsiontech.com/opocengine.html) “is said to be so smooth-running that a golf ball can be balanced on a running engine.” The engine is valveless and has no ignition system, reducing parts count, and uses a unique electrically-boosted and controlled turbocharger. The 325 hp version of the donk is currently being developed for Boeing's A-160 Hummingbird UAS.
