Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone has gone through the second interview for Cathay lately? I am going to HKG the 3rd week of Jul 06 for my final screaning, and was wondering as to weather anyone has just came back and could shed some light on the technical questions asked in the interview. I am well aware of the study material required just wanted to further prep.... any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Did phase 2 recently. Dont sweat the language test(unless you dont speak english very well), nor the math test as it just requires some thought, but is not too difficult and rumor is there is not alot of weight on it, you will probably only get maybe half thru it anyway. The Sim is just a sim ride.No tricks or gotchas, just listen to the brief, they are very good , and if the thing gets out of hand, go to your inbound heading and put it on the correct pitch, and it will stabilize. The HR and tech are very similiar to the 1st one, they seemed to hit on my trouble areas from the phase 1 written and tech, so brush up on the areas you know you were weak at phase one. Several guys seemed to have a bit of good cop/ bad cop experience in the interview. One would find a somewhat trivial topic to grill you on, just stick to your HONEST answers and dont spout off a bunch of fancy answers that some HR book said to say. Be yourself, try to relax, and good luck. EVERYONE I met, going over, while I was there ,and coming back were thrilled to be working at CX and I think it is just a real classy outfit. Good luck.:ok:

Well, I am leaving tomorrow to HK for the final interview DESO. I will let you know how things went. There must be a lot of guys who went through the Final Interviews (CX is hiring big time) but nobody seems to share his/her experience with us:(

Good luck for you in the next days, I keep the fingers crossed ... and once you're through with the interview it becomes clearer why nobody seems to share his/her experience

Are you guys also in HKG for the interview on the 31July-1AUG? Then I will see you there. Is there any information regarding the group assessment around?

hi chap have been invited for DESO final stage in 5 weeks, i would like some feedback on how it all wnt and things they asked and what are the exam papers are like all the help you could give would be gratefull also needed to know how much is the hotel per extra per night.
