Hi ginopino!

They're increasing their fleet at the moment, so they do need pilots. However they don't hire people without time on type, they just break their c.v.'s without reading them  (I personally know the guy who does it). If you have jet experience your c.v. will be stored and you'll be called for an interview if they're really really short of pilots.

But this is not your situation, since you have already flown the 320; so I think you are a good candidate for a 319 position.

Send them your c.v. and hope you have luck! :ok:

Nice flights,

Yes, but those pilots had really nice contacts or were working at the Ops. department before, and as far as I'm concerned this is because Airmadrid won't hire more pilots to work in the Ops department; because after some months they will have to contract them as pilots... (and not all of them are really good pilots...).

And I can also confirm you that some more will be hired as F/O with 170 TT, but they're already working in Ops (or other ones with huge contacts).

To sum up, if you don't have jet time, your c.v. won't be considered unless you meet any of the above requirements.

Like all the spanish airlines, it is much better (=strictly mandatory) to have 150 hours Total time with a huge personal recommendation rather than 20000 heavy jet hours and have no recommendation.

Hi!!!

Is better a phone call or a personnal meeting than an email. A good recomendation is even better.

1000 como CPT su 767, 3000 como F/O su 767,
Be honest CRJMaui : CPT on 757 since few months, so 1000 CPT 767 is not true. Few months F/O on 767, so 3000 F/O 767 is not true.

People like you are "the problem" in aviation.

Enjoy and take care !
