Was chatting to a dragon air trainee today. These guys will "graduate" after several years of classroom training, then aproximately 1 month of on the job "observations". From what he told me once graduated, they are able to certify on line for engines, airframe, radio, instrument and electrical. How much do they get paid?? Around $700AUD a month! That's less than I earn in a week as an AME!

Mind you, he also told me that rent for a 1 bedroom apartment where he lives back in China, is around $200AUD a month. ($50 a week). I pay close to $300 a week. Food is cheaper too, as is transport.

DICKson, COCKs and Johhny F!%#ing Howard, the day I pay $50AUD a week for rent, I will THINK about your push for chinese style wages.

4,180 Yuan Renminbi is well above the average salary in China. The trainee is well remunerated.

Thread has nothing to do with Dunnunda Forum.
