How´s the condition of the runway at Zanzibar airport, any big airliner trafficking this airport?

AFAIK ZNZ is served by an SA A319 on a couple of flights a week.

I have seen B757 and B767s landed in Zanzibar couple of weeks back
NDB was US at that time, only visual approaches for runways 18/36 .
Only VOR to be installed in the next 24months.

Heard about that VOR for several years now. Airport can Handle B777, which come from time to time and as I understand require special clearance. A330 regularily come from Europe even a 747 SP went in there several years back. The NDB is Usually working, was working today can't recall the last time it was out.
