Hi can anyone "in the know" help me, I am travelling from JNB-CPT in September, I know the flight is to be operated on an A340, I know the 600 sometimes operates this. Can anyone tell me if it is normally the 600 and not the 200/300? Cheers
Give me the date and flight number and I'll see what I can find out. I'm assuming this is the second leg of a multi-sector flight. I can't see SAA using an A340-anything on a single sector haul between CPT and JNB... :suspect::suspect::suspect:

Give me your date your are travelling on and I will get you the information. I recently booked to fly JNBCPT sectors on a SA 747-400 at 1300hrs, which normally opperates the weekend schedule, and back on a A340-600 at 1500hrs midweek both on domestic sectors, the same aircraft also opperates a morning rotation, my flights where full in both directions, could be different aircraft schedule later in the year though.

SA323 JNBCPT 15 Sep is scheduled to be a A340-600, it does the return 1505hrs flight from Cape Town which I got. Just got the full South African schedule sent to me for that day.
