Yes i know its been asked b4 and i know all about baggot community, but if someone has some genuine info on share accomodation or knows of somewhere close to the airport it would be much appreciated...(please read... im tight, have no transport and need a cheep room):}

Pick up a copy of the local rag (NT News) and flick to the classifieds. Normally a few in there each week. Failing that, where oh where is our good friend "Bagot Community", :}.

I don't know how long you're planning on being in DRW but http://www.hostelworld.com has cheap beds if you're look for short term stuff.
If not, its still a good site if you're going anywhere else in the world.

When I use to over night there, Gerry's in the Air raid Arcade wasn't too bad. It has been a few years since I have been in his shop.
They say its only a week between a good haircut and a bad one,,,,,,,,,:mad:
Took 3 weeks for the last one to come good,,, Let us know when you find a decent barber in darwin mate,,,,,,,,,

Decent barber in Darwin? Since Tony closed down, you gotta be dreaming.
Just go for a Number One for the head and Number Two for the beard.
I've yet to find a barber or barberette who can stuff that up :ugh: :E

When I were 20 I thort I'd be bald by 30.
Now I are neerly 50 and got (almost) as much hair as when I were 49, with a slowly enlarging bald patch on top.
I used to go to Scissors (I think it was called) at Hibiscuss Shopping centre, until I took to self mutilation which is much cheeper. :\

Hey Tin, I know some pilots who would love to have that much hair in the first place, :}.
From memory there is a good barber in Casuarina, down near the Coles end. Used to cut my hair (or lack of) and not look too bad. Can't remember what the price was like though.
