Been annoying me for a few days. Each time I boot, and before the welcome, I get the option to CHKDSK a hard drive. I let it go the first couple of times but the final info is always the same with no errors.

Is there a way of getting rid of this?

Good try DBTL, but the registry is showing exactly that which is advised.

Thanks BOAC and you guys, that fixed it. Dunno what was dirty about the drive but it's OK now and the boot is fine.

Thanks again.
