Just heard from a colleague up north that several pilots have received letters this morning from CASA containing nothing. The envelopes are all addressed, but nothing has been included or has the envelope being sealed.

This must be a very important secret document! At 50c per time, one wonders how must money has been wasted in postage.

Well, Bruce Byron sent letters to most people telling them not to deviate from published instrument approach procedures, so maybe it's his way of telling these guys to do what they damn well like!

You know the saying about something not being worth the paper it was written on? Well CASA have worked that out and have decided to save on the paper!

It's very likely that these envelopes contained the collective wisdom of CASA. For once there will be no dissent over the content. :ok:

The envelope was ready last year, but the document has been held up in the OLC pending review.
