I've had a look through the FAQ bit and couldn't spot anything about this so apologies if it's been asked before.

Every time I log on to MSN I get told that my computer has an invalid IP address. It's just a case of hitting the repair button but it's annoying and I suspect something is amiss. It also takes one or two attempts/refreshes to get the Internet explorer going.:ugh:

It's a Dell Dimension 1100 only a few months old.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Insufficent information.

Sounds like a DHCP problem, or a WIFI problem.

What's your setup?

Saab, thanks for replying.

It's wireless, with the livebox jobby downstairs. Signal strength and connection lights all show as good/normal.

What's DHCP? (I know a dangerously small amount about PC's)

Cheers

I suggest you start here:

See how you get on!
