Does anyone have any info on the Airbus 340 on the Saudi register (HZA-124). Anyone know where it is based??

Think this is the King's A/C based in RUH ! 4HP might be your man for confirmation.

The King's aircraft hey???? Sounds very upmarket!!! Guess it must be based in Saudi then? Anyone know where they go for maintenance??

124 was the personal aircraft of the Saudi ambassador to the US, previously HRH Prince Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz. Since his return from the US, following the death of King Fahd the aircraft has been in Riyadh a lot more than it used to be. Talk of it being based out of Brize Norton in the near future.

...it's been operating out of Brize (and Fairford, during Op Bolthole) for years.
