<font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica" size="2">Roots Air, the fledgling airline linked to a trendy clothing brand, will be grounded just a few weeks after its first flights.

Parent company Skyservice Investments announced Thursday that competitor Air Canada is making a big investment in Skyservice, and Roots Air will stop flying Saturday morning.</font>

So, all Air Canada needs to do now is put in an offer for Canada 3000. Then they'll control C3, Royal, and Canjet. The next obvious target will be Westjet, and then perhaps Air Transat. Have I forgotten anyone? If you expect the Canadian Government won't allow this I ask why not. They don't seem to have had any problems in the past in allowing AC to buy their way towards a complete monopoly. Hope you've got deep pockets Bobby.
