Photobucket question

Just spent hours resizing and uploading new pics to photobucket only to find out they all turned out different sizes. :ugh: I resized them all to 600 X 450 and have photobucket set to accept up to 128k pics. After hours of uploading, i find that my pics are several different sizes, and most are smaller than the 600 X 450 they were resized to and some are no bigger than thumbnails.

Example:
Was resized to 600 X 450, actually is 644 X 483 @ 93K

Resized to 600 X 450, is actually 322 X 242@ 54k

Why the different sizes? None exceded the 128k restriction and all were resized to 600 X 450.

Try the Photobucket upload tool. The rsizing can and with me, has caued some jagged eges, but a quick visit to the site will let you get one of its better kept secrets.

Thanks CtL. :ok: I'll have a look around there this weekend when I have more time. Meanwhile, later that night, I re uploaded one of the pics again but in original size (2576 X 1932 @ 1188kb and it still showed up at 174 X 131 & 32k. :* :ugh: := :{

Finally got dsl and finished uploading pics to photobucket. :ok: Photobucketupload worked wonders. Thanks, OtC. :ok: All pics uploaded as original size. Now to re-do the ones that are too small. :ugh::ugh::ugh::ugh::{
