Hi,
I live in Canberra and there is only one school here (I'm pretty sure). They are basically charging around $16000AUD(ball park figure) for all the training up to PPL. I'm concerned that being the only school in this city they can charge whatever they want. I'll be working in Canberra for the next couple of years, so I'll be a bit restricted in terms of location. If this is the going rate then I don't mind, but if I looking at saving 6-8 grand at another decent school then that changes things a bit.
What is the going rate for PPL at other respectable flying schools in Australia?
