Can anbody help with either service history details or photographs of WG 362 when it was a complete airframe and before it was turned into a PAX trainer. Failing that a poiner in the right direction would be gratefully recieved.
The details are needed by the ATC unit that has the cockpit section on charge and would like to host some information on the old lady on the squadron website.

Many thanks.

Chipmunk WG362.

Basic details of service life (no dates however) can be found in "Royal Air Force Aircraft WA100 toWZ999" Air Britain 2003 ISBN 0-85130-321-8.

Maintenance serial 8437M was allocated at RAF Swinderby on 30th January 1975 but it then became 8630M again at Swinderby around April/May 1979.
Some reports suggest the maintenance serials were allocated whilst the a/c was at Filton.

Wrecks and Relics Seventh Edition Ken Ellis MAS March 1980 ISBN 0 902420-34-8 records WG362 (ex Birmingham UAS) displayed outside with 3 AEF, moved to Swinderby by May 1979.

Converted to PAX trainer at Swinderby for FSS. Noted at RAF Newton June 1994. Moved to 1094 Sqdn ATC Ely May 2001.
