I've just read a 1977 PFA Publication about building a VP1 by Robert Lowe, an ex-RAF wartime pilot.

I happen to be rebuilding a VP2 so it was of particular interest but it would have been a great read even if I hadn't had the connection.

Does anybody know if Mr Lowe is still around. I see that his Veep is no longer active and I just wondered if he was.

I believe Robert Lowe DFC sadly passed away a couple of years ago, he wrote a pamphlet type publication on building his VP 1 published by the PFA and also a full book on the same subject some time later.

Perhaps the PFA Head Office can help further?

Many thanks for the answer ATR. Sadly I thought that might be the case as he beat me to a licence by 50 years and to VP flying by 30.

I've read the pamphlet and was unaware of the full book, I'll start searching.

Thanks.
