Hello all,
(I should get plenty of replies on this one)

so what are your best web sites for looking up the specs on various aircraft? I'm talking a/c types not individual aircraft by rego.

bring it on...

Bort.

Ive found specs on airliners.net as stated in this thread, but also check out the actual manufacturers sites like boeing and airbus, was on boeings earlier and had a good read of the boeing 777 family.

Oh that's super!

If you're interested in buying one, I'm sure the manufacturers will be very glad to tell you :}

On a serious note, many manufacturers tell you on their website as already mentioned by future captain above.

I am interested in buying but I am well short on the financials. Just research at this stage.

Manufacturers web sites are a good bet and I am aware of airliners.net.

I thought there might be some others that I have missed.

AMPK,
Seems there is some stuff for free on the web as i'm only interested in basic specifications.

Thanx for the replies thus far. Any more, free free to add.

Wikipedia.com is okay. Not a lot of technical data but it is okay if you want a bit of history about the aircraft as well.
