Word has it the the former Managing Director and owner of the failed Northern Air Charter company in Darwin has taken up a new CEO posting. Regular Ppruners will remember him as a colourful individual, often seen on the front page of the local rag for all the wrong reasons, often seen in the failed TV series Top End Boys and famously NOT seen after a specatcular golf cart and minibus crash in Darwin city area.

Our former star aviator has taken up the posting of CEO (if you can call it that) at.......... you guessed it, the RSPCA pound in Darwin.

It is believed that his long history of treating his pilots like mangey dogs was regarded as favourable in his application and we all wish him well.

regards
Vic.

Straight from the RSPCA website. Must be the old ad but shouldn’t be too long before they use it again. What happened to the labouring thing? Probably got beat up by the brickies.

This is my favourite bit from the ad have proven ability to manage staff and a demonstrated capacity to promote an organisation in line with policies and guidelines in the media and other public forums. He must have told them about the free publicity he generated for his former organisation.

If SW can’t hurt defenceless people anymore, why not defenceless animals.

The world can be truly bizarre sometimes.

I don't even know what face to make.

I think he might still read the forum (what else is a RSPCA CEO who doesn’t care about anything other than himself going to do – help the animals). I bet he would still be wondering why people don’t like him. :hmm:

Tinpis, can’t find it on the net. Would you mind posting the article. I can just imagine the saviour of all animals standing in a photo sporting his famous leprechaun suit with an added cape.

Thought that to hold a CEO position, one should have some formal management qualifications. I know for a fact he hasn't. Did he lie or does he know someone. Would be interesting to dig a bit further. Maybe they don't really know of his past.
