What's in the box........ Old Warden style!
The day started with a mystery container stood infront of Hangar One. Soon all was revealed, the wings of the Fokker Triplane replica have arrived and they look gorgeous. Hats off to all involved in the project.

The display kicked off in glorious sunshine, which made a welcome change to the liquid variety we'd had until shortly before. Looking at today's weather we were very fortunate indeed. Some wonderful flying and a direct hit on the flour bombing target (by Paul Stone) made it a splendid start to this year's sunset displays. As always the display was all the better for a good showing of friends old and new. Great company, great flying and wonderful flying machines make this one of the best ways to spend a Saturday evening. I'd urge anyone who's yet to experience a sunset display at Old Warden to add this to their list of things to do this year.
