First of all, thank all of you for putting so much info about Cathay Pacific on this forum.
It certainly has helped me a lot preparing for my interview.

Secondly, I know this has been a thread before but I just can't seem to find it anymore, could someone give me a breakdown of CP aircraft and what engines they have and thrust available?
There seems to be a bit of a discrepancy in the info I have....

With best regards

Hope this helps. Disclaimer applies, I'm doing the study just like you.

Airbus A330-300 RR Trent 772 - 71,100 lbs of thrust
Boeing 747-400 RR RB211-524G-HT - 60,600 lbs of thrust
PW4056 - 56,000 lbs of thrust (3 aircraft only I think)
Boeing 777-200 RR Trent 877 - 77,000 lbs of thrust
Boeing 777-300 RR Trent 892 - 92,000 lbs of thrust
Someone correct me but has CX got their Trent 800's with 84,000 lbs of thrust rating?

Airbus A340-300 CFM56-5C4 - 34,000 lbs of thrust
Airbus A340-600 RR Trent 556 - 56,000 lbs of thrust

Boeing 747-200F RR RB211-524D 53,000 lbs of thrust
GE CF6-50 (a few)
Boeing 747-400F (including Boeing 747-400 BCF) RR RB211-524G-HT - 60,600 lbs of thrust

When I was asked at the interview I just answered with the series number for the engines, ie. Trent 800, Trent 500, etc.
