Better hope not, as there are more SA types on validations in other countries who will do just the same..........

It will be disaster for the SA aviation industry , many companies in Africa and elsewhere in the world got airplanes ( ZS) on a lease basis with local crews ( Foreigners ) on a validation . If they stop issuing validation those comp they will stop leasing aircraft from SA . Guys like NAC for example will cry as the banks in SA are usually not willing to lease airplanes on a foreign reg .

I agree with you Lots of SA guys are on validation in Europe and Asia for instance.

And this new regulations ( if any???) will not give a job to the 200/300 hours unemployed SA pilots , as mainly foreign guys on validation have extensive experience on type and in the region .

Anyway let see what it is coming...:hmm:

It is not a rumour, once Part 61 has been adopted in full there will be no more validations, Part 61 makes no allowance for validations of a foreign license.
