Hey Guys & Gals

Airborne Personnel is looking for contract pilots on the 744 Capt & FOs for an east Africa base. Two year contract, blah, blah blah. It was on www.climbto350.com anyone have any clue as to who this is?

Must be Ethiopian; they're getting the two ex-MAS machines on lease. Not the greatest contract base (unless you're Ethiopian :} ) but hey, it's a job.

Good point - maybe the lessor can't find the crews. Have you watched the news? - they lost count of the number of bomb-blasts in Addis yesterday. Ain't no-one else in EA getting 744's in the near future.

It is for Air Atlanta who will be doing the Ethiopian contract. First aircraft due in Addis late June, 2nd is due early July, still not sure of the destinations. AAI have just bought 7 400's due for delivery over the next 18 months or so, there will be plenty of different bases opening up for the 400 in the future.
