Hey Folks,

I am a 28-year-old US Citizen who just applied at Cathay about two months ago. Do they normally hire people my age or do you need to be 30+? I applied for a DEFO position and have 4100+ total and 1150+ PIC turbine. Is the US-based freighter fleet my only option, or could I possibly spend a year or two in HK or Australia? Also, could someone explain the recent proposed pax fleet pay cuts as well as all the abbreviations/acronyms I see on here including KA, OZ, etc.?

Thanks...

KA is Dragonair
I'm pretty sure when people refer to OZ, it just means Australia
I'd have to look at the context that it's written in
Unless there's some airline that i've never heard of with OZ for its code?
