Hi all,
Just a quick question. I am doing my leaving cert in a few weeks time and I am just wondering do many airlines look at your school results once you have ATPL?

Hi 737-500 most Airlines and ab-initio courses have a minimum standard of Education.
I know if you want to apply for the Air-Corp you must have a minimum of 4 C's in honours subjects.
It was the same when Aer-Lingus were recruiting back in the day.
I think its more of a case that you will be able for the course and an indicator that you are able to apply yourself and follow a course of study.

So I would hang in there keep the head down and do your best.
It'll be all over in a few months and you will be free to pursue a career in aviation confident in the knowlege that your LC won't be a stumbling block later on.

Also if flying doesn't work out at least you have a good LC that will get you into college or a job.
Trust me you must prepare for every eventuality.
Best of luck.:ok:

Good luck with the LC. I have just a year to go! BTW, where are you thinking of training?

Thanks to captwannabe and wannabe28. Thinking of doing training at South Aer in Cork if I can get the money together!
