View Full Version : Any EK Firefox users
I have installed firefox (much better browser), however I cannot access the EK staff portal. Do I need to download any additional software for firefox??

I use Firefox and previously Netscape 7.2.
Both work with the portal but there are issues with the brand of Java used by Mercator and the Java used by Mozilla.
Basically, try reloading Firefox including Sun Java.
If no joy, then the problem may be the little Citrix thingy and you will need to reload that.

What error are you getting when you try the EK website? If it is something like 'you need internet explorer 6 to view this web page' you can download Chris Pederick's User agent switcher which 'tricks' websites into thinking that you are using Internet Explorer when you are not. It often works without flaws but sometimes not all aspects of a website may work. Even if this doesn't solve your EK Problem it's a damn good addon which might solve future problems. Suck it and see:)
