Anyone know anything about the development of the NH90 - hear rumors of deliveries of the TTH to France in 2011 which must be somewhat delayed? What about pricing?

Anyone with more info?

The ALAT delivery schedule has always been 2011, meeting its Puma replacement schedule (though initial familiarization flights were undertaken last fall). The Marine Nationale is due to receive its NFHs earlier, though this date has reportedly now slipped to 2007.

Initial deliveries are due to be made to Germany, Finland, Greece, Italy and Sweden this year, assuming no further delays to the program.

As of end-2005, the NH90 prototypes had logged 3,000 flight hours, with 600 logged by production a/c.

Range data here (http://www.nhindustries.com/site/FO/scripts/siteFO_contenu.php?lang=EN&noeu_id=10012&PHPSESSID=647fef515d5a3acf9fde894b21b28e3c).

Pricing? The 20 Greek NH90s were valued at €657m by Eurocopter, with the 20 Omani aircraft valued at €600-800m. 'Course, these figures include initial provisioning, etc.
