Hi all,

We will be going into Rome with Challenger in the near future, and would like some input as to which airport / FBO would be the best to use.

Thanks,

The airport for GA is LIRA. The Handlers are 2 :

- ADR (Aeroporti di Roma) - is the airport handler ;
- SKY Services - is a private company (they have no pilot's lounge).

Other Companies such as AIRConsult or Universal give you a much more "dedicated service" with a person available for your flight and of course it costs more.

-PPR is required for overnight due to lack of parkings.
-ILS approach RWY 15 is u/s , use VORDME App RWY 15.
-Circling for 33 at night is forbidden.

I quite agree that LIRA is the option for GA. My advice would be to use Universal foreverything you need there as they are he only ones who have been able to arrange parking for us.

When we asked them for fuel it arrived in about 10 minutes as well and not after 4+ hours as I have experienced more than once with the airport authority.
