I am sure this question has been asked somewhere within the boards but I could not find the answer using the search function!

I have a FAA CPL/IR (H)- what does this entitle me to do in the UK without gaining a JAR CPL (H). I know I can not undertake any AOC work, but wondered whether i can work for an owner who has G reg machine and be paid flying his machine around. I know I can work for an owner of an N reg and be paid.

Would be interested to know peoples thoughts on this...

Thanks

Not a rotary man myself but my FAA CPL does not allow me to get paid to fly G reg aircraft, although I can use the licence in a private capacity only. Best to either find an N reg one or convert to a JAA commercial.
