Just wondered if you did your JAA ATPL exams in the UK and then did the CPL abroad in Spain, is this allowed by the authorities?
Or must the CPL skills test be done in the UK in this case?

Many thanks

Depends which country you want to issue the CPL - UK or Spain.

To do the 50/50 idea of writtens in one state, flying in another, requires mutual consent of both states - and I very much doubt that the CAA will accept a Spanish flight test for CPL issue.

Maybe the Spanish will accept British written exams though.

You'll have to ask them.

Surely if its a mutual agreement it must work either way! In general, all licencing requirements must be met under the jurisdiction of one State, the State of License Issue. Subsequent ratings may be conducted in any JAA State, and added by the State of Licence Issue.
