i'm currently undergoing cpl training..
just wanted to enquire about the first officer salaries in governmen airlines - air india and indian airlines

also if u have any ideas on the pay for trainee pilots.

You have to be an Indian national to get first officer position. Only DEC's are permitten by the DGCA

FO positions ARE open to Expat pilots on turbo prop aircraft, I suspect this will soon open up to jet aircraft types in the next month or two.

7000 / m on the higher side ....

Line F/0 paid per hour . . . so you gotta suck up to rostering
and the same applies to capt's

your expected upgrade to capt min 5 years and thats on the lower side . . . .

You have a hope in hell to upgrade to widebodies thats if they ever get any .
