I do not know what has been happening last week but I received 4 job offers for permanent contracts based in europe....All very well reputed companies with good salaries and nice carreer perspectives....

Untill now I have been able to resist the temptation to go back but I am sure I will not be able to witstand the pressure much longer, and so do many others with me...

If all this continues, together with the rising political pressure in the region, The ME carriers might be in for a tough time. Europeans going back, Ozzies and kiwis going back home...Hell, even Egyptair is calling its pharaos to go back home now....

EK/EY/QR might have to URGENTLY change their attitudes....

Time will tell....:}

You have totally missed the point… You should ask yourself why are people going back?

A number of years ago, the Middle Eastern Airlines were amongst the best employers in the world, the salary and package encouraged a lot of people to leave their home countries and join them.

Why has that changed? Why are people now go keen to go back home? Do a little research in this forum and you will discover that the present exodus isn’t a bright sign for new comers!

I am sorry if i missed the point, but for me if my countrys flagcarrier improves significantly, i am very sure that not even my wife can stop me in going back, there is definitely no place like Home. I've read a lot of discussions around here and learned some of the things.
Management can do anything, anyday, anytime they want and still theres nothing we can do.
Ek may be a place of losing investment for others, but for the rest who keeps on coming they'd just found a new home away from home.(i.e. pilots from bankrupt airlines,out of job pilots, underpaid pilots etc etc.), so how can we exactly tell this people that they made a mistake in coming to EK. I know i can't, again im sorry if i missed the point.

Not even a 20% pay rise, basings, or preferred rosters can keep me from going home. Heck, not even Brian Murray can persuade me to stay now.
