I wear glasses for reading and need them for clearly seeing charts and plans after i've been flying for a couple of hours. Where can I get a good pair of sunglasses with my prescription just in the bottom of the sun glasses so that when i look up and out it doesnt effect my long distance vision as this requires no correction.

cheers

pinns84,
have still the same need as you, an fine but uncorrected sun glasses. I'm using stick-on-reading-lenses, bought from sportys pilot shop. Works fine!

The same place as you get your regular glasses. Your optician. I have a small bifocal for reading, no prescription for distance, with a Rayban tint less 10%. Works for me.

Are there any RAF aircrew out there who fly at low level - Dominies, rotary, gliders etc and who experience problems with the standard issue green sunspec. If so, what would you prefer?
