hello to every one!!
I'm trying to understand the price of a ce-500 faa type rating to fly that as pilot in command.
Some training center speaks about 5000 $ other 10000$. what's the difference??
thanks for your help.

PAIFA charges about $12K for a Capt Initial course.

Broadly speaking, for $5000 you get a piece of paper and for 10k+ you get to actually learn how to fly the thing. A lot of US reg aircraft the insurance specifies that you must have done a "proper" sim based course, so the cheaper ones can be a false economy in job terms.
Having said that, my first jet type rating was a 5k Ce500. The "course" exceeded my worst expectations (I didn't expect it to be good for that price), but it did get me a foot in the door first for some F/O work then a captain's job where the first thing they did was send me to FlightSafety!
Good luck!

First of all thanks so much to everyone for your help,
the problem is that to get the type rating i also need to convert from jaa to faa my cpl or at least the ppl with the mep-ir and i have no more than 13000$ to spend that is more or less the sum of the conversion plus the "bad type" and futhermore i must decide in one month to go or not to go in the usa!!

My calculator works it out at $5,000
Seriously, though. Go to FSI & pay the dosh for a proper sim-based & CAA/FAA approved C500/550/560 course. You get what you pay for.
