News is;

AirNorth Metro blew tyres on tow when the Engineers (ground crew ?!) towed the aeroplane with the brakes locked ON.... and managed to blow the tyres..,, early in the morning hours on Tuesday Morning :}
Rumour also indiactes that they were aware of the locked brakes and towed it regardless to get it off the taxiway..... Gaud Help Them !

Wonder if it did any damage to the gear itself ?!?! :ugh:

If there's one thing worse than leaving the park brake on during towing, its leaving it on for landing!

I wouldn't be surprised if management blamed the previous operating crew for this one. After all it's always the Captain's fault. :*

OH MY GOD.......

If a pilot had blown some tyres its all ok as it just it happens some time:ok:

If an engineer in the wee small hours should chance to do the same after a long shift then the engineer is the worst person in the world and gets acused of professional mis conduct on a pilots internet forum :{ :{ :{

Get a life :yuk: :yuk: :yuk:
