Friend of mine sent me a photo of an RAF Avro Lincoln used as a flying test bed. Besides the normal crew cockpit, the nose of the Lincoln has been considerably lengthened to include another cockpit and radar shaped nose. It looks like the rough shape of a Concorde cockpit design. Any ideas?

Avro Lincoln B Mk 2 Serial No RF533 was used as a flying laboratory at Telecommunications Flying Unit at Defford 1948 for the development of radar and fire control systems.

MReyn 24050. Absolute magic - thank you very much. It is the same Lincoln as in the photo I have.
