Some you kiwis may be old enough to remember seeing these...:{

Some may remember "George" Washington from AirNorth.He actually ferried some of those Corsairs there in 1948.
They were switched off and drained of gas and the gas then sold to the cockies.

As far as I know he's still pottering about kanga.
He had some good yarns about flying Corsairs on Ops out of Bougainville.
