Transaero Airlines (UN/TSO) .....a)....applied to the Canadian Transportation Agency (CTA) for permission to add Toronto to its current license authority which allows them to fly to Montreal. Transaero was designated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation by Diplomatic Note dated February 2, 2006 to all fly to Toronto, subject to Canadian government approval. The CTA has granted the request and amended their license to reflect the change. b)...as a result of the above transaction approval, Transaero have now published their flight schedules in the Global Distribution Systems (GDS) to show a once-per-week flight from Moscow-DME airport to Toronto on Wednesday nights arriving in Toronto at 2345hrs local time. It will be non-stop using a Boeing 767-200 aircraft and will overnight and depart Thursdays at 1530hrs local back to Moscow. The first flight is planned for June 21st, 2006.
