Not really sure where this should be posted so feel free to move if you think appropriate.

As part of a college project i am carrying out i am looking at cargo container designs for use in aircraft.
Something i need to know however is the required specifications they must meet, i dont obviously mean size, locking mechanisims etc, but any FARS or JARS that exist for containers.

Something is in my mind that they must be able to withstand 26G for a specified amount of time but more than likely i'm way off base with that (mind aint what it used to be, Gotta love beer though:} ). Been looking about but cant seem to find anything concrete about the requirements for containers.

Any pointers to what is required from them and the appropriate document, If any exist, would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers
Andy

Well, you're way off with Jars. They break to easily, preference is for metallic containers these days.

Seriously though, the internet has plenty of places to look. Within a minute, I found this (http://www.hydro.com/nordisk/en/products/nordisk_containers/half_width_lower_deck/ld3.html)! Give it a go...
