B) wing over
C) Stall turn

Given enough speed, he could have pushed over without negative g, ie less than 1 but still positive.
What's the limit on those things?

Goes to show that you can take the plane away from a FJ, but you can't take the FJ from the plane.

Please fasten your seat belts ladies and gents, the Captain has lost the plot!!

Can't wait to see what happened next, I'm guessing he pushed over.

Seen this at Fairford a couple of years ago finishes with about 60 degrees bank and levels. Impresive display throughout.

Wish they'd bring back the Nimrod display, bit more smokey and noisey.

Our plot on the might V was a wing over to about 80 deg and lowering the nose.

It was the extra 100 deg that had us inverted and going the wrong way - up:}

80? Bunch of poofs...

We used about 120 to pull gently to arrest the climb, then back to a more modest 45 to turn downwind.

I heard from a relaible source that they just kept going, they were trying for the X-Prize. The boeing had the new feather Mod's fitted to allow for re-entry!

See you at Wanaka boys! :cool:

Yes, yes, I see the error of my ways,

See you at Wanaka boys (and girls)!

Happy now :}

I could have said "Warbirds" over Wanaka, but a sheep in wolf's clothing is still a sheep!

INCOMING!

So is a stall turn a possibility then?

Naaah, Antipodeoan Gator, it's

"Ucksullint!" :p
Got it in the neck from an Ocker sheila in Canadia for four days, every time I said it. Tall, svelte, blonde honey that she was. . .

I'd bet the knucks would still do that with the 727, too, built-up area or no.
:rolleyes:

Sorry Roscoe, either way I hope they'd securely strapped down the Chilli Bun!

:} :D Probably not. They're not big on thinking ahead, when there's a chance to 'properly aviate'. Knew a knuck called 'Crash' in BHE, once. Explained a lot. Might be mixing tales here but a story of a bunch of drunken baby knucks in Ohakea springs to mind, when they rolled a piano out the mess, down the road and off a bridge.

Have they rigged the 75s with SAMs yet? :rolleyes:
Ha-ha-ha . . . I get the 'chilli bun' now. . .

Shhhhh!! Last time I was at the wasteland next to Palmy North even talk of Piano Burning was Streng Verboten. Eventually some of the 75SQN lads burnt a 2 inch plastic model piano....and they still got in the guano!
