THe clocks went back (or is it forwards) in Seppo land this weekend and I have about a million of them to change...well some of them have a DST button :ok: to whoever invented that one

...assuming you have it set correctly :}

Half of my clocks adjust themselves for DST / not DST.

Radio-set clocks are very useful if you are really lazy.

I'm surpised they're not all satelite based by now

If they were based on satellites, you wouldn't be able to see the time. :confused:

The UK has been on DST since 1997.

Double Standards Time.

Why CAN'T we have a satellite like a night-club mirror-ball that would project the correct and appropriate time to all corners of the world?

Coz some treehugging smelly hippie would complain the light from it would be screwing up his hemp plantation's blooming cycle, thus ruining his production for clothing and alike. :rolleyes:

We did have a satellite like theat Mr G-C, twer called Echo 1 if one remember correctly it was a hundred foot across silvered balloon,lauched by the cousins to bounce signals off pre telstar days,very bright it were,but it did not last long must deflated I guess.
:cool:

I have one of those atomic clock thingies in the lounge, damn thing doesn't pick up the signal from the satellite unless I take it outside for a few minutes for it to set itself

Try propping up one corner, djk.

You often find that those with the inclination also have the time.
