YUCCY, I was in Cairo just the other day, and I did see a AMC 732 (and a MD83) on the apron, and they both looked pretty serviceable. But I think they are taking delivery of 738's soon.

The airline still operate a single B732 and 2 MD-83s. Their first B738 (SU-BPG) arrived last month and the second one is due in June (both leased from GECAS). They are about to place an order for 5 B738s directly with Boeing to replace the B732 and MDs and expand.

Hi there,
Amc still operated the b737-200. Recently they were looking for crew on the aircraft, as some of the crew on the 200, were being upgraded to the b737-800. They claim the placed an order form boeing for 7+ B737-800. Not sure if the 800 is already on grd cairo yet. I know there very desprate for crew on the B737-200. All the best

SU-BPH (already delivered) and SU-BPG (due in June) are leased from GECAS. They are close to finalising an order for a further 5 (not 7) B738s directly with Boeing with first delivery expected in December, with the rest being delivered on 6 month intervals.
Thank you for info,
When does AMC get their second 737-800?
Do you have any idea if they need 737-200 pilots?
Cheers
A.
