Restricted Class 1?...

Hello People

I am a bit confused about this subject as people are telling me there is and some people suggesting there isnt.

so the question..." Is there anything called a Restricted Class 1 Medical?"

If so, is it the same as a class 2 Restricted?

Yes there is.

When I did my C1 test I was informed that for example someone with a slight spine curvature may be restricted against flying helicopters for example, (due I guess to the potential for a large amount of regular vertical spinal shocks).

Also, someone recoverinf from an illness maybe restricted in their duties, for example restricted to having to flying with a safety pilot in the case of a single-pilot aircraft, or multi-crew only.
