Hey Guys,
I have first set of Cabin Crew interviews coming up and realise that currency conversion will be on a few of the exam papers. Im 27 and havent needed Maths in about 10 years. Can anyone give me any clues or quick ways of working out currency conversions, eg. when to use multiplication and when to use Division.
Sorry to appear thick, dont remember doing any such thing at school and I did well at GCSE maths. Am desperate!:{ lol.
Thanks in advance

Crewboy,
lets assume pounds in the base currency.

when converting a pound into foreign currency you multiply.

Eg: If the dollar rate Is $1.75 then £10 is 10 x 1.75 = $17.50

when you go from the foreign currency to pounds you divide.

Eg if the Euro rate is €1.45 then €290 / 1.45 = £200
