Would anybody in the know care to comment on the IR training that's available in Townsville? Can anybody recommend a particular school or instructor - thanks

Hey Bloke, Dave Killen @ Barier Air Services in Cairns is now training to the CMIR. He would be worth a ring.

The only training going on in the Ville is Bluewater Aviation, pretty sure they do IR, ring Rowan 4725-1888
Personally I drove from TSV to YPMQ to do CIR/ME with Johnstone and didn't regret it one bit. An excellent training organisation and best BE58 dual rate in Aus.

With all due respect to the previous replies, why drive elsewhere when townsville can do the job. Try Martin Molony CFI @ Bluewater aviation, he is a good guy and has heaps of hours/experience. 0747251888

Do yourself a favor go and see Bob Harris he is the best. Innisfail is only 2.5 hours drive north of Townsville. Don't touch Bluewater Aviation!!!!!!
Whats wrong with Bluewater in Townsville. Do they have a bad rep? If so, why?
