Hi All

I'm off to begin training through to CFII in the US in May. The school has suggested getting the medical when I'm there but I was wondering if it would make sense for me to get it done here in Oz first. I'm on the Sunshine Coast.

Some have suggested getting a Class 1 or 2 done to be sure I've got no hidden ailments that might bar my future course. I don't think I do - but then I have no idea what they'll be checking!

Is it worthwhile? Are there any "approved" Docs up this way? I'm down in Sydney in a few days, if that would help...

If those contacts fail, get onto the CASA website and find the list of DAME's and select "DAMEs approved to conduct medicals for Overseas Flight Crew Licensing Authorities".

If thats no good try ringing CASA on 131 737.
Don't tell me Graeme is still at BK!
