Anyone have some info on why Italian airspace closed late on the night of the 16th, with flights having to go around it?

Yep !
Yesterday at about 0955 UTC, Roma ACC was totally out of order:
No OLDI messages with others ACCs, Radio were U/S, Radar were U/S and phones were out of order to ! :confused:
There was a big confusion all the night. :uhoh:
There were a lot of rerouting, a lot of diverting, some "short fuel" and so on. A relly nigthmare. :zzz:
