Broome Coastwatch Dash-8 has managed to taxi, turn around on the runway, cancel plan due aircraft u/s, shut down, 5 days in a row everyday !!
Replacement Dash not seen in the vicinity either, unless there's another one launching from Darwin or Perth to cover their schedule's aswell and make sure our water's are not invaded :ugh:

Couple of the light twins are seen but they have their own area to cover and no way will have the capacity and capability to patrol Dash allocated areas.

Now we all know they have super surveillance gizmo's onboard.... but don't we all agree they don't have that much range to patrol the coast from just entering the runway !!

Let's go fishin''''!! :E

Maybe it's the oil fumes coming through the bleed air in the cabin again !

Try making an FOI request to find the truth. Those tasking are not as silly as you would expect. :ok:

Here is some open source reporting to put you in the ballpark:

Operation Relex II - Australian Border protection
This is the Australian Defence Force operation which contributes to the whole of government program to detect, intercept and deter vessels transporting unauthorised arrivals from entering Australia through the North-West maritime approaches.

Op RELEX II is currently based on a Task Group comprising one major fleet unit, an AP-3C Orion maritime patrol aircraft, Navy patrol boats and an army security element. A standby AP-3C Orion is available to deploy to provide a surge capability if required.

Operation Relex II includes units from all three services and supports Coastwatch and Customs.

Don't know about 5 days AustinPowers, Broome's Dash flew on Thursday, that leaves Friday - 1, Saturday - 2, Sunday - 3, Monday - 4. A maximum of four days that it could have happened. If you can't even count to five how do we know the rest of your post is true? :E
