1. While sitting at your desk/flight deck, lift your right foot off the floor/rudder and make clockwise circles with it.
2. Now, while doing this, draw the number "6" in the air with your right hand. Your foot will change direction!!!

I told you so... And there is nothing you can do about it.

it's a bit like patting your head and rubbing your tummy at the same time.
It took me a couple of goes, but once I was able to concentrate and ignore the strange looks from the others in my part of the office, I managed to do it :D

Some Ppruners in N. Ireland may prefer to do it with the left foot:\

I found it easier with my left foot, but then again I am left footed / handed

Nah! Moving your hand(s) in a figure six REALLY messes things up!

(well on the R22 it did!)

Compared to flying a helo??

Only if it makes you go deaf and gives you backache!

I tried doing it, whilst moving my right hand at the same time.

My case comes up before the court in late April!! :p

Reminds me of that tip from some rally driver about using your left foot to brake, as he maintained it was faster in terms of reaction time and response, once you had got it "trained". Well, I tried that in the driveway and after nearly putting myself through the windscreen, gave it up as a bd move.....

No it did not :ugh:

Does that say something about me being blond or is it just I have a smart right foot :p

Its a six you have to draw TnT, not a nine! ;)

Same with me TnT, however, the first time I tried it my foot started going up and down. Second time I looked at my foot as I did the figure 6 (starting from the top) no problems.

And yes, I can pat my head and rub me tummy at the same time, mind over matter it is.:ok:

And I bet you can 'use' your left hand . . .

Very first automatic transmission car that I drove, I was reversing into a parallel parking space, then I used my left foot to depress the clutch, except it was the brake pedal, and I darn near broke my neck!
