Just wondering what are my chances of getting (any) work in Norway? I have +2000hrsTT and 1100ME CIR with FIR and an Aussie ATPL. I am in the process of getting a residency and will convert my licences.
Is there GA in Norway? what aircraft do they operate?
thanks

Your timing seems to be good. Here are the most obvious options:
1) Norwegian. B737. You'll need a rating, but your hours are where they need to be and they're hiring all year.
2) Widerĝe's. DHC-8. Set to hire all year. No rating required, and they'll appreciate your hours.
3) Lufttransport. B200. No rating required, and are hiring.
4) Ben Air. C206. Constantly hiring.
If that isn't enough, there's always Ryanair. Rumers of a base at Sandefjord in the near future. You'll need a B737 rating.
As for Coast Air, KATO and Danish Air Transport, I'm not updated.
Cheers

@Cloud surfer: Would they (Lufttransport) hire somebody that can´t speak norwegian? (rating current, 4000hrs B200, CRI/CRE, 6700 TT) Do you know a contact there? Can´t find anything on their webpage...
Thanks

I don't know, but I find it very unlikely due to the ambulance operation. Why not send them an email?
