Does anyone have an email address for the Chief Pilot for AirAsia?
Have tried contacting through the email address on the website, but hasn't worked.

Many thanks

Yes, he is a top dog. In addition, no bull **** guy!
If there is anybody reasonable and responsible to talk to, he's the one.
For the time being, he's away for A320 conversion. Don't expect reply soon, but you'll get it eventually.
Best of luck!
Disclosure: I have nothing to do with AA, except I happened to know Capt. Mohan well.

XBAND... hahahahahahahahahahahaha... hahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...

EVERY pilot at AirAsia knows Mohan is just full of hot air and bullsh*t!!!

I still speak to friends at AA and they still say that the guy will screw you while calling you "My friend".

Everyone must remember 'Don't judge a book by its cover'!!!

I will try to get his AA address for those who need it... Good luck!!!

ARMY OF ONE RECRUIT I agree!

This Mohan character is full of hot air...Same as Tony! The company is a joke.

Now before anyone gives me the whole "tony bought it for $1 and now it's a multi million dollar company" stop and think that I dont really give two s*its!

Air Aisa will always a cowboy operator!

A 'cowboy' company or what not, it is now the pride of Malaysia, well known throughout the world. Whatever personal feelings you have for AA Latif, I suggest you stop and think. It's providing jobs, it's making money and is not a burden to Malaysian taxpayers.

What more do you want? A job with them?

Sounds like a disruntled PPL pilot not being able to handle straight and level flight. Have you been to their academy or talk to the guy? If not, I suggest you do so before your moronic stupidity really shows.

Latif#2 - Don't often agree much with what you post, however there is merit in your statement. A little exaggerated though don't you think. Yes it is a bit gung-ho (or is that ad-hoc) sometimes, there are a few pilots who shouldn't be where they are, engineering are doing the best they can with what they've got, and little incidents happen all the time - nearly everywhere.

Jolly/Chrome - and where should the fingers be pointing??? The sorry excuse for Management. AK making profit - he11 yeah, but a bonus for all the poor hardworking souls on the ramp, behind the counters, running the corridors - bu11s**t, like the situation in CX.

AOOR - Agreed. Getting chilly over there yet?

Everyone else - wanna take your chances and join? Better off sending your applications to the actual DFO (rather than the guy who has "other" things to do) - Captain Chan Poh Sum - at least he'll give you the time of day and the weather (so to speak).

Chill, Do you have Captain Chan Poh Sum contact details?

Jonathan sucking up on pprune will not get you a job with these cowboys...

Try another approach...like buying a TYPE rating! That's the new direction these cowboys are going. $70000 and you still can be bonded for 3 years, get paid way below industry standards and work like a $2 hooker...

Now every monkey can fly!

Chill, I agree that the success to AA is mainly to the hardworking staff. They are the most hardworking if you know the place well. Yea there's no bonus yet, but it's all across the company. No one is getting the bonus. That's fair if you consider bonus is promised in the future AND at the same time the company survives and one gets to keep a job.

Furthermore it was all uncertain a few weeks ago if you consdider that AA didn't know whether they will get the domestic routes or not. Imagine the 'fat' they will inherit from MAS, retraining them will be a mammoth task. How do you tell an MAS gate staff that instead of a team of 4-5 people, in AA they will have to work in a team of 2 or maybe just alone?

Latif, I have seen you write zero substance posts before so I am not suprised. But to see that you wish that AA planes fall down from the skies is something else. I pray that you see why it is wrong to do that. Be it a discussion of any airline (this is assuming you are a sane adult. If you are below 9 years old or have permanent brain damage, just disregard) it is not correct.

And don't call the passengers monkeys.

Don't take this latif guy seriously, he obviously doesn't belong to any carrier in the region. Most probably some guy at the club who didn't get pass the first interview, thats why he's angry with everything and everybody.:8

Latif2 - well back to your usual colors, at least you are consistent. Why the new moniker? Did PPRuNe revoke your previous one mah? And watch who you are calling a monkey - some of us take our profession seriously - I didn't slog for a decade to get to now :* On a constructive level, who said their direction is new? Old tactic lah and it's 5 years. Besides, all LCCs prefer type rated for obvious reasons, AirAsia is no different :suspect:
Chrome - all across the company except TAA and IAA who got bonus for the year past even though MAA pulled the most profit :hmm: that makes plenty of sense :suspect: Yeah, know all about TFs promises lah, "But I didn't say when." :* Sure bonus is a bonus and it don't mean a lot to me, but it's a lot to those lower down the line. Now that TF has his routes from MAS maybe the 50/50 chance is 60/40 now :ouch:
Those wanting to send in applications should address to the DFO (Captain Chan Poh Sum) and mail to [email protected] and she'll pass it on. Wish you well, but don't hold your breath

Thanks Chill, It's not for a job application for myself as i am happy with my current job. Maybe you can try to apply?:ok: And don't you know the difference with "being proud" and "sucking up"? No offence but you're just a waste of time. Whatever is it that you are not happy with the airlines in ASIA, try a soft approach.
